0.1.0 2026-11-02
First beta, released for Mac (Apple silicon) and Windows at the same time.
- Rebuilt preview scheduling: playback without dropped frames, and an instant picture while scrubbing
- Multi-track timeline with a magnetic main track, snapping toggle, split, Q / W ripple trims and full undo history
- Automatic captions via a downloadable offline speech-recognition extension (Chinese, English, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean), SRT export and one-click filler-word cleanup
- 8 filters, 6 transitions, keyframe animation with 5 easing curves, and title and caption styles
- Green-screen keying
- Two-up trim view: outgoing and incoming frames side by side for frame-accurate trims
- Media relinking: moved files are found automatically, or you can point to them yourself
- AI collaboration: a local MCP server (53 tools) lets Claude Code, Claude Desktop and other MCP clients work on the timeline, with every step undoable; plus the cf command-line tool
- MP4 export (H.264 / HEVC, 720p to 4K, 24–60 fps) with automatic hardware encoding
The Mac build isn't notarized by Apple yet: the first time, right-click the app and choose Open.
On Windows, if SmartScreen appears on first launch, click More info → Run anyway.
