Before you install

The app's interface is in Simplified Chinese for now. The guide gives the Chinese label next to each step, so you can follow along.

Install

  • Mac: open the .dmg and drag the app into Applications. This version isn't notarized by Apple yet, so the first time, right-click → Open.
  • Windows: run the installer. If you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway.
  • Full steps and troubleshooting are in the guide.

Verify the download

Check the SHA-256 to make sure the file is complete and unmodified:

Extensions

The installer contains the editor only. The speech-recognition extension for automatic captions (about 240 MB) downloads from inside the app when you first need it, and works offline after that.

Updates

The app doesn't update itself or download anything in the background. When a new version is out, download it here and install over the old one; projects and extensions are kept. See the changelog for what's new.
