Terms of use

The ContentFactory app (the “Software”) and the cf.wakitx.com website are provided by Wakitsoft (Zhuhai Wake Software Technology Co., Ltd., “we”). By downloading, installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version prevails.

1. License

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on computers you own or control, for personal or commercial work. Please download it from this website. Don't sell the Software itself or distribute modified installers as if they were official.

2. Beta software

Version 0.1.0 is a beta. It may contain bugs and features may change. Keep your own backups of important media and projects.

3. Your content

Videos, captions and project files you create or export are yours. We claim no rights to them and have no access to them. You're responsible for having the rights to the media you import.

4. Extensions and open-source components

The Software includes open-source components (such as FFmpeg), and downloadable extensions may include third-party models (such as the SenseVoice speech-recognition model). Each is covered by its own license, which ships with the Software or extension.

5. AI assistants

You can connect third-party AI assistants to the Software. Those services are run by their providers and governed by their terms. Every change an assistant makes to the timeline can be undone; review the result before you export.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We aren't liable for data loss or indirect damages arising from using, or being unable to use, the Software.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and will change the effective date on this page when we do. If you don't agree with the new terms, stop using the Software.
